Hello! My name is Violet and I am one of the people behind the scenes translating Bath Academy’s vision into word and image. I am also responsible for internal and external communications to current parents and students (and prospective ones.)
I spent formative years studying in Finland and America so I understand the international students’ initial struggle after being one myself – but after living in Bath for over ten years I see it as my home (so I understand the local student’s viewpoint too.)
My background is in the arts – I am a paid and published poet and illustrator, and with my last role being the sole marketer of FilmBath Festival I feel I am well positioned to add a creative flair in raising Bath Academy’s profile, both locally and internationally.
I think learning and the gaining of knowledge are some of the most noble pursuits in life so I am delighted to be working at Bath Academy, a wonderful institute where my morals align fully.
In my spare time I enjoy; being in nature, wild swimming, travel, reading, film, knitting, and putting the world to rights with my friends.
