Completion of the Medical Foundation Programme provides students with several pathways to Medical schools. Students can follow more than one of these routes to maximise their individual chances of successful progression:
1st Route
Direct application to Medical Programmes at;
The Royal College of Surgeons – Dublin, Ireland
- Internationally recognized medical qualification – MB, BCh, BAO (Hons) – (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery, Bachelor of Obstetrics)
- No additional entrance exam (UCAT/BMAT)
- Direct application (not through UCAS)
- Requires IELTS 6.5
- Each year RCSI have 220 non-EU places available

- Located in the heart of Dublin – the vibrant and friendly capital of Ireland

The University of Central Lancashire
- UCLan’s Medicine (MBBS) programme offers an innovative approach to medical education
- Taught in state-of the-art facilities
- Clinical placements in UK NHS hospitals and clinics start in Year 1 and feature strongly throughout the programme
- Early patient contact and clinical placements in the NHS from Year 1
- No entrance exam (no UCAT/BMAT)

St. George’s University – Grenada, West Indies
- A medical degree taught in the Caribbean
- Problem-based learning in small groups
- 4, 5, 6 or 7 year Medical Degree options with an opportunity to spend up to two years of the programme in the UK at Northumbria University

- application to EU Medical schools teaching in English language, e.g. University of Nicosia
- application to Pre-Medical Degree at UK Insitutitions, e.g. University of Buckingham
- application to Biomedical Degrees at UK Institutions, e.g. Brunel or UCL
